The Diamond J Ranch is family-owned, and it’s been that way for most of its history. In 1928 the ranch was homesteaded by the Bowles family, whose many descendants still live in the region. The Rileys were the next owners; they constructed many of the cabins for the guest ranch operation that began in 1941.
Now, the Connell and Stewart families own the property and they visit and vacation here regularly from their home state of Texas. Having grown up with annual childhood visits to the Diamond J, it just seemed natural to buy the place in the 1990s. They invite you to come be a part of its history too, where you’ll take away lifelong memories of a magical place.
