Daryll and Margaret Rowe

Our advice? Come hungry.

You’ll come to anticipate the ring of our dinner bell: the Diamond J Ranch serves fresh and delicious meals three times a day for guests, using organic and regional ingredients whenever possible.

Breakfast, served at 8:00 a.m., might be fluffy French toast, creamy quiche, Eggs Benedict or Huevos Rancheros along with an assortment of juices, fruit, coffee and tea.

Lunch, at 1:00 p.m., might be an inspired salad, grill item, soup & sandwich or burger. Our midday meals are accompanied by delicious side dishes, fruit, lemonade, iced tea and coffee.

After a day in the saddle, on the hiking trail, or on the river, you’ll welcome a hearty dinner, served at 6:30 p.m. All our evening meals come with hot bread & butter and homemade soup or salad. With one entree served family-style each day, our chefs Darryl and Margaret Rowe can pull out all the stops: they might serve Colorado black angus meatloaf, buttermilk fried chicken, pork medallions with mushrooms & gravy, or homemade lasagna. Other specialties include chicken enchiladas, grilled salmon, prime rib, steaks and baby back ribs. And of course, there’s dessert. Try selections like raspberry cheesecake, peach cobbler and strawberry shortcake.

With advance notice the Diamond J Ranch can accommodate dietary preferences for vegans, vegetarians and others with special food requirements.
